ACOLYTES

A very active group of young people serves as acolytes each Sunday at the 11:00 A.M. service and other occasions. Acolytes receive annual training and are recognized during a church service in late spring where they receive crosses symbolizing the number of years each has served. This is an extremely important part of our youth ministry, and almost all of our young people participate when they are old enough.

THINGS TO REMEMBER: Gospel Processional (Crucifer and two torches) will occurr in all Holy Eucharist services.

Be fully vested by 10:45 or at least 15 minutes prior to the service.

Be quiet and still during the entire worship service

Participate in the service…stand when the congregation stands; sing the hymns; follow along in the prayer book

If you would like to acolyte when you are not scheduled, see Chuck at 10:50 to see if there has been a "no-show".
