Pancake Dinner Organizational Meeting:

     An organizational meeting to discuss the upcoming pancake dinner will be held after church Today in the Parish Hall. Please come and help us plan the 2012 pancake dinner.  If you can’t make the meeting but are able to help, please call the church office and leave your name and phone number and someone will get back with you.

Stewardship Committee Meeting:

     The Stewardship Committee will meet in the Vestry room at 7:00 pm Tuesday, February 7^th, to discuss plans for Stewardship activities the rest of the year.  The Vestry has determined that Stewardship at St. Thomas must be a year-round effort, focusing not only on raising money but also on contributions of time and talents.  Anyone interested in serving on the stewardship committee is encouraged to attend.

Women’s Retreat:

     The 2012 Women’s Retreat “Lifting Women’s Voices: First responders of the Gospel” will be held in Winston-Salem on Saturday, March 17^th from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm at Centenary United Methodist church.  St. Paul’s Episcopal churchwomen are co-hosts.  The speaker is Dr. Gail O’Day, Dean and Professor of New Testament and Preaching at Wake Forest University School of Divinity.  Cost of the retreat is $30.00 and money is available in St. Thomas’ ECW budget to defray some of these expenses.  All women from St. Thomas who are interested in attending, please contact Jeanne Horsley at 342-2869 by February 15^th.

ECW Handbooks:

     2012 Handbooks are in the Narthex.  Please take yours and any you could deliver.  This will save on postage.  If they have not been picked up by the middle of February, they will be mailed.

Altar Guild:

     The Altar Guild could use a few “good” women or men.  Please contact Suzanne Howard or Patricia Bobbitt if you would like to become a part of this Very Important, but behind the scenes ministry.

Day School Registration:

     Registration for preschool for the 2012-2013 school year is now underway.  Registration packets are available in the church office or from any of the teachers.  Please call 349-3511 ext. 106 is you have any questions.

Fill the Tub:

     Items needed for February for the Reidsville Outreach Center are:  peanut butter, potatoes, pork & beans, cereal, Boost, coffee, sugar and soap.  These items may be placed in the blue tub located in the narthex of the church.

Adult Christian Formation: 

      Come join the Adult Christian Education class which takes place in the parish hall every Sunday at 9:45 am.
